Chat zhai hua nong yue (Liu Jai Home for the Intimate Ghosts) (1991) LD

Adapted from Pu Songling's "Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio," the story is set in the Qing Dynasty, where scholar Ning Caichen encounters the female ghost Nie Xiaoqian at Lanruo Temple. The two fall deeply in love, but Xiaoqian is controlled by the tree demon Granny and cannot escape. To save her, Ning Caichen teams up with the Taoist priest Yan Chixia to battle the demons. Interwoven with this is another erotic tale: Hua Nongyue infiltrates her enemy's household to avenge her father's death, using her beauty and martial skills for revenge, becoming entangled in lustful affairs and江湖 feuds. The film blends ghost-fox legends with Category III erotic elements, intertwining undead romance and vengeful bloodshed.
